Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) says he isn't campaigning for many Republican candidates during this mid-term election cycle, especially those who he believes broke their promises to the voters on Obamacare. But he is campaigning in Montana on behalf of State Auditor Matt Rosendale for the US Senate.

"Because I believe, and really truly believe, that if he can get to Washington he will vote to cut spending, he will vote to repeal Obamacare, and he'll be one of those who will be with us- with the Libertarian conservatives in the Senate."

That's what Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) had to say on Wednesday's Montana Talks radio show that airs statewide.

Rand Paul says Rosendale, when it comes to liberty, will be a big contrast to Senator Jon Tester (, and is urging Libertarian voters especially to vote for him.

When it comes down to it, there are times when I have supported the Libertarian over the Republican. In this case I think it is a mistake to vote Libertarian because I think that Matt Rosendale is and has a lot of Libertarian characteristics and he can win, and I would hate to have him lose because we have too many votes going to the Libertarian.
