The upcoming weekend rodeo in Augusta, Montana is the biggest event of the year for the Rocky Mountain Front community. As a result, it is also the most important event of the year for many local business and bar owners.

Given the massive flooding that hit Augusta Tuesday, locals are concerned that the rodeo may not take place this weekend. Here's what Lewis & Clark County Commissioner Susan Good Giese told me on Wednesday's "Montana Talks:"

For our bars, our businesses, our establishments- this is their biggest paycheck of the year. It is unclear about whether or not the rodeo will be held, because the rodeo grounds got completely inundated last night.
