Billings Couple Pleads to Pounds of Meth

The Gazette reports that a Billings couple admitted Thursday that they had several pounds of methamphetamine in their home, as well as a storage unit, for the purpose of distribution.  During yesterday’s hearings in U.S. District Court in Billings, 35-year-old Raymond Thomas Tetzlaff and his 36-year-old wife, Crystal Busby-Tetzlaff, each pleaded guilty to charges of possession with intent to distribute the drugs as part of plea deals to dismiss other counts.  A grand jury indicted the couple on trafficking charges after an investigation led law enforcement agents to serve a search warrant on their home at 1226 Yale Avenue in February.

A third co-defendant, 46-year-old Sean Gilmore of Billings, was also indicted.  He has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial.  Prosecutor Thomas Godfrey said agents found 1.5 pounds of meth in the home along with $10,000 cash.
