Busy Big Sky State Games Weekend of Fun!
Once again Billings showed that there is plenty to do here if you know where to go! My weekend started out a Daylis Stadium on Friday night for the opening ceremonies of the 2015 Big Sky State Games! It was a great torch lighting ceremony to open up this years games! The crowd showed up for a great BBQ meal and several motivational speeches from Mayor Hanel as well as special guest, Dick Fosbury! I was able to take a few minutes with Mr. Fosbury to show him my attempt at the Fosbury Flop video that I did last month.
Fosbury told me the only thing I did wrong was I jumped off of both feet, but he also said,
you have a quick heel flip!
On Saturday and Sunday I traveled around Billings capturing a couple of photos of events going on around Billings. Not only did the 10-K and cycling events go off on time there was plenty of activity at the YMCA with Pickle Ball and Volleyball at Skyview and Billings West. Stewart Park was filled with softball!
Hope you enjoyed your Big Sky State Games weekend!
