So today news comes out about one of the largest wind energy companies with wind turbines in eight states being fined.

ESI Energy is paying $8 million in fines and penalties because their wind turbines killed 150 eagles in Wyoming, California, New Mexico, North Dakota, Colorado, Michigan, Arizona and Illinois, according to the Associated Press.

They had to plead guilty to violating the Migratory Bird Treaty Act in a Cheyenne, Wyoming court appearance. Prosecutors said they were warned that the wind farms would kill birds and proceeded anyway without minimizing the deaths.

It's illegal to harm eagles according to Federal law. What the hell did you think was going to happen?

These environmental and conservation groups shoved all of this wind energy stuff down our throats and now they're upset about bird deaths.

So, what exactly do you want? By the way, if you were so concerned about the deaths of eagles why did you put this stuff out here.

What about Chicago? That city is known as the windy city anyway. Stick the turbines in Oprah's backyard instead of ours.

Same thing with solar panels. How many government buildings in Washington D.C have solar panels on them. The Capitol, the Pentagon etc. How many? It's funny how they constantly throw these ideas out west and ruin all of our beautiful countryside but preserve their own.

We have plenty of power so it's about time they start destroying their own states and not ours. Just drive up to Eddy's corner and try to look at the gorgeous Snowy mountains and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Wait till we have to start more lithium mines to build all the batteries for electric cars that hit them.

See ya tomorrow at 5 a.m.
