Early Monday morning, what’s described as a possible illegal street race resulted in one hospitalization and one arrest.  Emergency crews responded to a crash on First Avenue North.  A BMW collided with two parked cars causing heavy damage to the BMW and flipping a Honda CRV on its side.
The wreck in downtown Billings landed an unidentified woman in the hospital and a man in handcuffs accused of drunken driving.  Billings Firefighters had to remove the 29-year-old woman from the passenger side of the BMW.  She was taken to Billings Clinic with injuries that were not life threatening.
Meanwhile, 41-year-old Benjamin Mills of Billings was arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and felony criminal endangerment.  The other vehicle involved in the incident sped away from the scene.  The BMW front passenger side wheel was almost completely ripped off the vehicle.  The incident remains under investigation.
