The race for Billings’ Mayor is getting more crowded.  A fourth candidate, Danny Sandefur, has joined the race to succeed Tom Hanel as Mayor.  Sandefur is the co-owner of CDS The Edge Performing Arts Center with his wife.  He also works as a realtor for Century 21.

KTVQ.com reports that Sandefur is running on a platform of supporting police, plowing side streets in the winter and dealing with the transient population.  These are just some of this reasons for running.  He’s said it’s not that anything’s [quote] “super bad” [end quote], but that he believes that certain things need to be taken care of or done better.

The other previously announced candidates for mayor include Billings attorney Bill Cole, State Representative and Montana Republican Party Chairman Jeff Essmann and local architect Randy Hafer.  The deadline to file is June 19.
