Charity casino nights are always a great time. They provide a fun opportunity to get dressed up, sip some drinks, and hit the tables... all without leaving Billings. If you love the sound of poker chips, laughter, and good times for a great cause, you should probably attend the Quality of Life Casino Night, Tuesday, April 12 at the Big Horn Resort.

This year, the event is a benefit for Shop With a Cop.

The Quality of Life Casino Night is organized by the Billings Association of Realtors. Event co-chairs Tim Mascarena and Mikayla Kovash stopped by our studios today (4/6) to share details (listen to the interview below). Kovash said the Quality of Life events have raised a lot of money for local non-profits over the years and they expect to hit the one million dollar donation milestone this year. Different charities are selected each year.

Casino Night is Tuesday, April 12 from 5 - 9 pm at the Big Horn Resort. If you'd like to simply attend and bid on silent auction items, admission is $10. To gamble, it's $25 which includes a stack of poker chips or ten bingo cards. If you run out of poker chips, additional stacks are $10 and bingo cards are $2 each. Complimentary finger foods are included and the cash bar will likely be a busy spot.

Proceeds benefit Billings' Shop With a Cop.

Most of us only hear about Shop With a Cop around Christmas, when BPD officers are seen on TV shopping for toys with kids. However, they help deserving children throughout the year, including things like buying back-to-school supplies.
