Montana has some pretty interesting people. Australia is also known for having some pretty interesting people. This is most likely why a group of Australian YouTube creators chose Montana as a location for some of their ridiculous experiments.

This past Fall, I was fortunate enough to draw a pronghorn antelope permit here in Montana. A longtime family friend welcomed us to hunt his property near Billings. He warned us that if we didn't fill our antelope tags quickly, we may have to "deal with a bunch of crazy Aussies." He wasn't joking either. Our pal Dave had developed a relationship with the 2015 Montana Teacher of the Year, Craig Beals. Craig had built a custom Jeep with a canon mounted to it. Craig needed a place to test it out, so Dave offered up his place near Broadview, MT as the testing grounds.

Word got out of a mad science teacher in Montana shooting off canons. Soon a group of Australian YouTubers found themselves in Big Sky Country to film an episode for their channel "How Ridiculous."

In the first of multiple videos, the HR crew has a "blast" shooting bowling balls in the wide-open country of central Montana.

The How Ridiculous team approached the event as a science experiment. But, you can clearly tell that they are simply having a "ball" blowing stuff up.

For the first "experiment" the HR team tests the canon's accuracy. They mount their dinosaur mascot on top of some sticks and attempt to blow the toy to oblivion.

In the next "experiment," the team sets up 50 bowling pins and attempts to destroy all of them by shooting a bowling ball out of the canon.

After they take out the regular bowling pins, they try to see how many giant inflatable pins they can take out with one bowling ball blast.

But, the fun doesn't stop there. The HR team decided to do another "experiment." This time trying to see how many giant trampolines the canon can launch a bowling ball through.
