Bed Bugs in Montana? These 2 Cities Are The Most Infested

Bed bugs are a growing problem across the country, and for some Montana residents, that hits close to home. Bed bugs are fairly common in Montana, but for the most part, you don't hear about huge infestations.

According to the Montana Department of Health and Human Services (DPHHS);

Bed bugs are small insects that feed on human blood. They are usually active at night when people are sleeping. Adult bed bugs have flat, rusty-red-colored oval bodies. About the size of an apple seed, they are big enough to be easily seen but often hide in cracks in furniture, floors, or walls. When bed bugs feed, their bodies swell and become brighter red. They can live for several months without food or water.

If you've ever had to deal with bed bugs, you know what an absolute nightmare they are. Unfortunately, quite a few hotels in Montana have been plagued by bed bug infestations. The good news is that the bed bug problem in Montana isn't nearly as bad as many other places across the U.S.

Bed Bugs: Most Infested Cities and Towns in Montana

According to an article published on the KTVQ website in April, there have been several apartment complex in Billings, Montana that have reportedly been infested with bed bugs. We found more articles about bed bugs in Billings than any other place in Montana.

In another article, published in June on the KXLF website, an apartment complex in Anaconda, Montana was battling an ongoing problem with bed bugs.
