Magic City’s 4th Annual Tacos and Tequila 2024 is May 5

Celebrate Cinco with Tacos & Tequila 2024 in Downtown Billings.

If you love tacos and tequila, do yourself a favor and come to the 4th annual Tacos & Tequila event on May 5th at The Depot. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever, and event organizers couldn't have picked a better date... Cinco de Mayo!

About The Billings Depot.

The Billings Depot sits in the heart of downtown's Historic District on Montana Avenue. You've probably been there for a wedding or other special event. The former train station was built in 1909.

A scene from the 1992 Tom Cruise/Nicole Kidman movie Far and Away was filmed in the building, which had started to fall in disrepair in the early 90s. A group was created to restore the complex, supported by private dollars. The Depot writes,

The Billings Depot is a 501(c)3 nonprofit special events venue that remains financially sustainable through three core revenue streams: facility rentals, private and corporate donations and rental fees from building leases on the Depot property.

Come and eat good food on May 5. You'll be supporting a treasured community resource.

Billings' best chefs, restaurants, and food trucks will be on-site.

Professional foodies will create unique specialty tacos and other Mexican-inspired menu items for guests to enjoy and judge. Patrón is the official tequila sponsor this year, with additional event support from Shamrock Foods, Stacked, and The Montana Beef Council.

DJ Tektonics will be spinning beats along with Mariachis Del Corazon adding an authentic soundtrack to the afternoon. A team of Magic City's Best judges will crown two winners at the end of the evening, Best Tacos and People's Choice. Trophies and bragging rights will be awarded.

Tickets start at $40.

Early-bird GA tickets are $35 until April 15th. General admission is from 1 pm to 5 pm. VIPs ($85) get early access and other extraordinary perks, including access to the giant Patrón Dome VIP tent outside.
