UPDATE: Donald Trump, Jr has now weighed in, calling out the Montana GOP for engaging in "leftwing cancel culture." Kimberly Guilfoyle also called on the MT GOP to reverse course. Don Jr's tweet as of 3:20 p.m. Wednesday had already garnered nearly 161,000 views.

Uninvited. The Montana GOP making some national news headlines, as a Trump ally is no longer being invited to serve as a keynote speaker at the Montana Republican Party's upcoming winter kickoff event.

Alex Bruesewitz is a close ally to President Donald J. Trump, who is also working closely with Donald Trump, Jr. on a VERY interesting project here in Montana. He's also the CEO of X Strategies.

According to the Washington Examiner, Bruesewitz has been "uninvited from speaking at a Montana GOP convention over his vocal criticism of Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT), fanning tensions between the congressman and allies of the former president." (Bruesewitz believes that Navy SEAL veteran Tim Sheehy is the best choice to defeat liberal Senator Jon Tester this Fall)

Alex told me that his speech was solely going to focus on the importance of electing Donald Trump as president in 2024, and that he wasn't going to use the platform to push one candidate or another at the winter kickoff event.

So what was his speech going to be about?

Alex Bruesewitz: I would have said that if you want to make America strong again, if you want to make America safe again, if you want to make the world peaceful again- vote for Donald J. Trump. And I will also say that if you are sick of the radical left trying to impeach our great president, get rid of Jon Tester because he is a rubber stamp vote for Chuck Schumer and the radical left who voted to impeach our president twice. And now we have a great opportunity to send him to retirement and possibly to fat camp.

Here's the audio of our chat with Alex, along with a response from a gentleman who says he serves in a regional capacity for the Montana GOP.

Meanwhile, we do have some good news. I spoke with Montana Congressman and former Trump Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke (R-MT01) on Wednesday morning. He says that Chad Wolfe, who served as acting Homeland Security Secretary under Trump (you know, back when "homeland security" was a thing) will now be speaking at the winter kickoff.
