Messiah Fest Ends

Q2 reports a Billings Christmas tradition ended Sunday afternoon at the Alberta Bair Theater. The St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation hosted the Messiah Festival for 25 years and decided this would be their Grand Finale. The benefit fundraising concert was free. The Messiah Festival featured music from German composer George Frideric Handel. His master work, Messiah, was written in 1741. The foundation had planned on a five to 10 year run, but decided to end it after 25 years with the upcoming renovations to the theater.
