Hats off to Montana law enforcement for moving up the Montana Law Enforcement Memorial Day events by one week in order to honor the family of Broadwater County Deputy Mason Moore. The event was moved up a week so that the family could also attend ceremonies at the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, DC.

Deputy Moore was killed in the line of duty back in 2017.

In case you missed it, Dennis Carlson put together a great piece for the Montana Television Network featuring the Moore family and the Mason Moore Foundation created in Mason's honor.

Here's an excerpt from his story, "Remembering Deputy Mason Moore:"

“I haven't stopped having faith or stopped believing in God. But I'm angry and it's really hard.”

Jodi says as she drives past the site where Mason was killed, which is marked by a make-shift memorial along Highway 287 west of Three Forks, Jodi tells her kids that's where Mason received his angel wings.
