Ever wonder if your one vote really matters? Well, MTN News reports Cascade County Republican Lola Sheldon-Galloway now leads Democratic candidate for the Montana House Laura Dever by a mere 14 votes– 1,882 to 1,868– after provisional ballots were counted Tuesday afternoon in the race for House District 22 in Great Falls. Last week, just five votes separated the incumbent Sheldon-Galloway and Dever. A difference of .25 percent qualifies for an automatic recount, and while the race is now out of that range, a recount can still be requested.

Q2 reports Former federal attorney Ashley Harada pulled ahead of Billings lawyer Juli Pierce by 119 votes in the race for district judge in Yellowstone County after provisional ballots were counted Tuesday, but a recount remains possible.
