A ‘person of interest’ in connection to a recent shooting in Billings has been arrested in Gallatin County after an early Thursday morning pursuit. Q2 reports that 30-year-old William Rogers, from Laurel, was taken into custody following the the pursuit. In addition to Rogers, police captured passenger Chelcie Watson and charged her with drug possession. Billings Police said Rogers is a suspect in a shooting that occurred in Billings in the early morning hours of Wednesday on the 900 Block of N. 23rd Street. An unidentified 37-year-old Billings male was reportedly dropped off at Billings Clinic with a single gun gunshot wound to his left lower body, when police say possibly two more gunshots were fired from an SUV, striking the victim.
