32-year-old Christopher Burrington was sentenced Monday for repeated violations of an order of protection.  Yellowstone County District Court Judge Michael Moses sentenced Burrington to eight years with the Montana Department of Corrections, suspended six of those years.  He ordered Burrington to pay over $1,600 in restitution to his victim.

 

Burrington was charged with eight felonies during 2016.  Prosecutors reduced his charges as part of a plea agreement.  He was ultimately convicted of two counts of violating an order of protection, burglary and felony theft.
