A suspect in the shooting at the Rimrock Mall parking lot appeared in court on Tuesday.  23-year-old Bryan Travis Antelope is facing six felony and two misdemeanor counts that include assault with a weapon, tampering with evidence, criminal endangerment and criminal mischief.  The bond was set at $250,000 during Antelope’s hearing in Yellowstone County Justice court by Judge David Carter.
Billings Police Department responded to the mall parking lot at around 2 a.m. Saturday after witnesses reported that someone had shot at them. The responding officers found evidence of gunshots at the scene.

Officers got a description from the witnesses and soon found Antelope walking in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Phyllis Lane.  While officers were stopping Antelope, another man got out from under a car and ran.  The second man was caught by officers and they reportedly found a handgun near the car.  Antelope is scheduled to appear again in Yellowstone County Justice Court on June 7.
