St. Francis Catholic School students will be moving into a new building in the fall, but they– along with many alumni from the 99 year history of the Fratt Building– took fond memories with them as they moved on Wednesday night. KTVQ.com reports Billings Catholic Schools started in 1911 and classes at the Fratt building began in 1918.

The meeting of alumni, students, parents and those who have worked for the schools completed their memorable trip at St. Francis Upper on a tour that also included St. Francis intermediate and primary schools.  Jim Stanton, principal at St. Francis Upper School said some hadn’t been there for many, many years, and it was a chance to say goodbye to the building.  Students will still have two more days there. St. Francis K through 8 School will open next school year.
