"Help us fight the 30x30 land grab." That was the focus of a big meeting in Lewistown, Montana recently. Now, the American Farm Bureau Federation is weighing in.

Thanks to efforts by Miles Community College, the Montana Meat Processors Association, and the Montana Farm Bureau Federation- help may be on the way. They're all teaming up to launch a new meat processing program at Miles Community College.

A few Montanans were on hand at the White House on Wednesday for the signing ceremony of the US-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement (USMCA). Noticeably absent from the signing- Democrats.

"Ag has not felt sun on its face from Washington, D.C. for quite a while. Free trade has not been fair trade, and this president has acted on that. We now have what looks like more open markets for our beef, wheat and other agricultural products.”

We spoke with Montana Farm Bureau National Affairs Director Nicole Rolf on Friday's Montana Talks to hear more about what they know about the agreement.
