Montana National Guard

He's a West Point grad, a green beret, and the President of The University of Montana. And now he is the newest officer sworn in to the Montana Army National Guard. UM President Seth Bodnar joined Aaron Flint recently on our statewide radio show Montana Talks. Click below for the audio:

According to the 495th Facebook page, "Senator Daines gifted the unit with a refreshing taste of Montana, hand carrying some Hi-Country Beef Jerky and homemade cookies halfway around the world for our Soldiers to enjoy throughout the holidays."

A 37 year-old Laurel man has been arrested after shots were fired during a domestic disturbance, and then at responding officers.

The Montana National Guard has sent four helicopters and 48 soldiers to help fight wildfires in western Montana.
