Tester on Daines in Politico: “It’s totally bulls**t”

Former Democratic Senator Max Baucus (D-MT) may have been arm-in-arm with Jon Tester during his race for the US Senate back in 2006, but the fact that his fellow Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) will be campaigning in support of Tester's Republican opponent this Fall has Tester getting a little testy.

As Politico reports:

“I’ll be campaigning with the nominee, as I would any race in Montana,” Daines said. “But I will always be respectful of my important teammate back here in Washington.”

Tester, however, isn’t buying it.

“I don’t want to get into it because I have to work with him. It’s totally bullshit. He’s already doing it,” Tester said.
