It could become a much sought-after symbol of a legendary ship, and supplies are currently limited.  The Billings Heights Veterans of Foreign Wars post currently has a limited supply of USS Billings hats for sale.  KTVQ.com reports that Chuck Carroll, with the Billings VFW, received an original USS Billings hat from the United States Secretary of the Navy at the vessel’s naming ceremony in August of 2015.

The hats being sold by the VFW Post are based on those given out during that naming ceremony.  According to the Post, this is the last order the local VFW post has in stock and they’re selling for $15.  The VFW also have USS Montana hats.  The Montana was named at the same ceremony as the Billings in 2015.  To purchase a hat, stop by 637 Anchor St. in the Heights.
