BUTTE, Mont. (AP) — A hospital official says a Harrison woman is in critical condition after her house exploded while she was inside.

Laura Lee Sheehan is being treated at the University of Utah Health Care Burn Center in Salt Lake City after the explosion Sunday.

Hospital spokeswoman Kathy Wilets told the Associated Press Monday that the 34-year-old Sheehan is in critical condition but declined to release additional details.

Sheehan works at a veterinary clinic in Belgrade and part-time as a bartender for the Pony Bar.

Authorities suspect the explosion was caused by a propane gas leak that was ignited by a flick of a room light.

Neighbors pulled Sheehan from the rubble. The blast blew out the windows of neighboring houses and showered debris over half of the block.
