Billings Man Admits Rape

KTVQ.com reports that a Billings man allegedly admitted to raping his teenage daughter’s friend more than 10 times, according to court documents filed ahead of 39-year-old Erik Young’s Thursday court appearance. Young was scheduled to appear in Yellowstone County Justice Court on Thursday for the charge of sexual intercourse without consent.

Officials at a high school in Billings notified police that a 14-year-old student was involved in a romantic relationship with a much older man. The girl admitted she had stayed with Young multiple times from August to October of this year and admitted to sexual contact. Young reportedly admitted to raping the victim, but said he only had sex with her after the minor child initiated contact. He estimated that he had violated her approximately 10 times. Young is being held at the Yellowstone County jail without bond.
