Frank Miele is about as MAGA as they come. He's pro "Make America Great Again." He's pro Trump. And he isn't afraid to say what he thinks. Oh yeah, and he didn't just start talking about border security yesterday.

Miele is the former editor of the Daily Inter Lake in Kalispell, Montana. He now has his "Heartland Diary USA" blog and is regularly published at RealClearPolitics.com.

I was broadcasting LIVE from Columbia Falls, Montana on Friday morning and invited Frank to come down and join us. We also invited anyone else from the community to come down and join us LIVE on the microphone.

I asked Frank what he wanted to talk about on our statewide show, and obviously the fight over the Speaker of the House in Congress was the big topic of conversation.

While Miele says he disagrees with the 8 Republicans for ousting former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, he says he agrees with most of the "8" on the issues. He also says he is excited about the idea of a potential Speaker of the House in Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH).

Frank Miele: The fact that Republicans can't govern is potentially what's going to kill us in the 2024 elections. We have to overcome that by demonstrating that we can get things done. And if they can't get things done, they've got this slim opportunity, you know, tiny little margin window to get things done before the 2024 election comes around.

One of the 8 who voted to oust McCarthy was Eastern District Congressman Matt Rosendale (R-MT02), who many consider to be planning another run for the US Senate against liberal Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) instead of running for re-election in the US House. Navy SEAL veteran Tim Sheehy has already announced a run for the Senate, and already has the backing of top Montana Republicans like the Governor, Senator Daines, and Congressman Zinke.

Frank Miele: I think Rosendale shot himself in the foot for any chance at statewide office. He could probably hold on to his seat if he chooses to in the Eastern Montana district. I think he would go down to defeat again, probably worse than last time, if he goes against Tester. And that- we can't afford that.
