My wife grew up in Missoula. So needless to say, when we go out to the Montana Club- we are getting the Hoagieville cheese fries. When the plate arrives, somehow I turn into Chris Farley as one of the Gap Girls from Saturday Night Live.

"Lay off me, I'm starving."

Ok, look- even if I wasn't starving, there's something about the melted cheese and the seasoning that leads to a mad dash for the cheesiest clump of fries.

"Diet starts Monday. Heehee"

I was out at the Montana Club on Friday night with my wife and kids and my wife and I started joking about the legendary Saturday Night Live episode featuring Chris Farley, David Spade, and Adam Sandler (watch it below for those of you who weren't around in the 90s). Like they asked Chris Farley in the segment- "Aren't you on a diet?" - I get asked the same question whenever I post something like eating cheese fries.

"Aren't you on a diet, Aaron?"

Not really. Over 5 years ago I got back from a deployment overseas. I was piling on the pounds even though I was still hitting the gym hard etc. Thankfully, I linked up with Billings Last Diet (an Ideal Protein program based in Billings, Montana) and lost a bunch of weight. Just by checking in once a month with my diet coaches, and doing an annual tune-up, I've been able to keep the weight off. So, let's just say Friday was my "cheat day."
