1 Dead in Lockwood Shooting

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Yellowstone County sheriff's deputies are investigating a fatal shooting in Lockwood, just east of Billings.

Sheriff Mike Linder says the shooting reported at 4:20 a.m. Friday is being investigated as a homicide. Linder would not identify the victim, saying family members were still being notified.

The Billings Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/1dgJvTK ) officers had secured the area around a mobile home and were waiting for a search warrant Friday morning.
